Friends, Romeans, Country fans

Sorry I just got back from Nashville. What was I doing down there you ask? Well, my happy little Romeans, we were working on three new songs for the new project. Hey Romeo CD number 4. That’s not the name of it, or maybe it should be, I don’t know. Maybe we should have a contest and see if y’all (damn there it is again) can come up with a cool title for the next record. So looks like you should be hearing something in the next few months.

So, Nashville was great as always. We did rent a pretty questionable condo for the two weeks we were there. It was like being out on the road again and staying in a band house, only with more slugs, and a pet duck walking through the front yard, right beside the train tracks, next door to Rosanne Barr and her family from her TV sitcom, only with more swearing.

So I would have to say we won’t stay there again, although I do miss the duck.

Okay I hope you all got your lists to your loved ones and you have all your Christmas shopping done, decorations up and all the lights are working. Try to remember the reason for the season folks. No, I’m not going to go all religious on you, even though it is called CHRISTmas. I just want to tell you all this time of year is about spending it with family and friends, eating great food and being thankful for all the great things in your life. I, for one am very thankful for all of you who continue to let Hey Romeo be a part of your lives. I hope the new music will bring you as much joy listening to it as we did making it. Think of it as a late gift that got lost in the mail.

Have a safe and happy holiday folks. What do I want for Christmas you ask? Just turn somebody new onto our music and that would be the best gift I could get.

Love and Luck Romeans!

Cling to your roots and keep an eye on the horizon… I think I see Santa Clause coming to town.
