Friends, Romeans, Country Fans… What the hell is all this white stuff on the ground. It’s not like I don’t enjoy winter, cause I do. My problem is that my favourite time of year is fall. I don’t know why, maybe it’s the cooler weather and I have to wear a jacket and that means I have extra pockets so I can carry more stuff with me besides what will fit into my pants pocket. I do like the colours.
Friends, Romeans, Country Fans… I’m so messed up I can’t remember when the last time I did one of these. Okay, been super busy. We all know about the CCMA awards. In case you hadn’t heard we went out to Vancouver and shot a video with the great Stephano Barberis. What a great time, did I tell you this already? Sorry if I have, one week is running into the next like sweet whiskey into a cold glass of cola.

Friends, Romeans, Country Fans, I’m back! So I’m not even sure when the last time I did one of these things but here goes. The Reno in the house is close to being done. We had to re-do some stuff in the bathroom but it was better to make it right then just to settle. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Pictures of the finished work coming soon. So let me think for a second…

Friends, Romeans, Country fans… I sit here in my living room looking at the new tile waiting to be grouted, wondering if I will ever be able to walk to another room that doesn’t have plastic on the door to keep the dust at bay, which doesn’t work as well as I hoped. I will be dusting for a year. I hate dusting. It’s one of those jobs like vacuuming or cutting the lawn. You can leave it for

Friends Romeans Country fans… Seems I am behind, Again. The summer has been so busy I just seem to lose track. Well lets see we played the Taste of Edmonton http://www.eventsedmonton.ca/taste-of-edmonton/ and a great festival out in Bengough Saskatchewan called the Gateway festival. The people out there were fantastic and the hospitality top notch and they had cool t-shirts. Here is another t-shirt Al gave me. Now that I look at it you might think it’s a joke but

Friends, Romeans, Country Fans, I was just in Quesnel BC for Billy Barker Days. It’s beautiful here. You’ll have to give me a break I’m doing this from the blackberry so it might be short… I’m talking about the blog. Kitty Wells died this week, “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels”, made her the first female country singer to top the U.S. country charts, and turned her into the first female country star. We also lost Jon

Friends, Romeans, Country fans… What to say… The wife and I are sleeping in the basement, it’s not the worst I’ve ever stayed in, that would have to be the band house in Peace River where you had to share the house with the stripper, not that I have anything against strippers, but they were not the high end men’s club type. My brother and I asked one girl “since you’re making so much extra money bringing guys back to

I would like to thank the Ranch Roadhouse here in Edmonton for all the great support. They not only hosted the CD release party they also gave us tour support when we went across Canada with Gord Bamford. This was the first time I had been in that club. It was

Friends, Romeans, Country Fans… Summer is here! That’s why this blog is late. I’m trying to spend as much time as possible on my house and yard before I hit the road. I was out at the park this past weekend with Little D. It’s a Daddy daughter day! We also had lunch, chips and slurpees! Okay I may be reliving my youth, but sometimes ya gotta have a little fun, can’t be broccoli and milk all the time.
